Meet the team of dedicated volunteers leading the Baton of Hope in Derby and Derbyshire. Many of us bring lived experience — whether through being bereaved by suicide, living with poor mental health, or having faced suicide attempts ourselves.
What unites us is a shared passion for building a future where we work towards a zero suicide society, while championing and supporting the incredible organisations already making a difference across all communities in Derby and Derbyshire.
Our team brings a diverse range of skills from across the public, private, and voluntary/community sectors. We’re committed to an evidence-based, holistic approach in everything we do.
